Re: [archived] gbp_l10n - Multilingual Publishing
I know it might be late in the development of this plugin but I have a few questions:
- Does the plugin support all url schemas (the one I am currently using is /id/title)
- How would the plugin affect existing sites in relationship to the urls? Or will it be possible for sites to keep the existing schema with an added language specific version? ie id/title (default site language) – el/id/title (additional language)
- The movie shows how 2 languages can be used. Do we take it for granted that we can have more language translations ie 3-4?
- For txp 4.0.5 it was announced that there will be many changes which ‘will’ result in plugins not being compatible. Are you working with the txp team re this matter?

The plugin works with all url schemes. It doesn’t break the old urls but it will automatically add the language specific version. ie en/id/title (default site language) – el/id/title (additional language)

Of course. Steve’s demo site has three languages.

Where was this announced? Are you sure this is 4.0.5 or the crockery branch? But rest assured the MLP will be updated so it’s compatible with future versions of Textpattern.

Three languages live on the demonstration site and I’ve run with five locally as you can see from the first screenshot from this previous post.

Re: [archived] gbp_l10n - Multilingual Publishing
All
as this work has now morphed into the MLP Pack, I’ve started a new MLP thread here that also announces the ransom for this work.
Any questions regarding Graeme’s original gbp_l10n plugin are welcome here but please switch to the new thread to discuss the MLP pack.
Thank you.

Hi all! I have installed MLP on txp 4.0.4
I go to the top level ‘contents’ tab and to subtab ‘MLP’ .
Setup wizard bring some errors. How it to treat?

Thanks for the report, could you re-post it on the MLP Pack thread and we will take a look.
This thread is only for supporting the ‘old’ gbp_l10n plugin.
