I think I know how the spam is coming in.

Found this link in the referrer page of a spam IP’s visit:

http://www.yoursite.com/?parentid=517#cpreview#cpreview

Take out the double call to cpreview and they won’t be able to automatically comment.

It’s always the simple things.

My plugin that blocks such requests (and thereby that spam) is a little over a year old (from December 2005): asy_stopdude

It’s nice to hear that there are still some cases here and there where it would work… ^^
