Clean URL check failed - Pre-Check flight
Please note my directory is password protected, thus the first few lines in the htaccess reflect this.. I have tried all sorts of combinations as suggested in the forum, but sill the clean url fails in pre-flight. I have also tried Rewrite Base/ with no luck.
My Host provider 1and1 has confirmed they support mod re-write.

Re: Clean URL check failed - Pre-Check flight
FAQ. Textpattern tries to fetch a live site page to test clean URLs. Your password is blocking it.
