auto delete

hi….i have download the plugin for deleting “automatic” articles. is there a way to automate the whole process? i’m not a php coder at all. so maybe someone can help me to realize the following idea:
all articles older than eg. 3 weeks (starttime is the publish-time) will be deleted (maybe set in the admin pref). so there is no need to create and to fill out a custom-field.
