Re: [textile] Adsense code comes out broken?
I would use a WordPress plugin, then, for the same reasons.
notextile. <!--adsense-->

Re: [textile] Adsense code comes out broken?
UPDATE: turns out that something was wrong/outdated with the Textile plugin I was using. Odd, since it’s relatively popular.
I switched to another plugin, included the code within “==” lines, added a blank line before and after the code block and it worked.
Again, thanks everyone for your help — I appreciate it.

Re: [textile] Adsense code comes out broken?
It looks like that Wordpress plugin is using an old version of Textile, which has some bugs and doesn’t support the notextile.
syntax.

As the plugin author writes, you can update your classTextile.php anytime – download it. Then you can take advantage of notextile
, pre.
, bc.
and plenty of new features.

Argh, hadn’t noticed that. Thanks for the pointer, jm.

Re: [textile] Adsense code comes out broken?
Just an update and an observation: I reverted to the previous plugin, using the updated classTextile.php as jm pointed, and the code now works without even having to use “==”.
Odd (I think?) but excellent.
