My latest TXP driven site

Hey all, we just launched Renfrew Baptist Church on Friday. Please pass along your thoughts, etc. on it. This thing is using quite a few plugins but all in all, everything came out pretty well. It just got featured on both Screenalicious and CSS Mania this week so I am super excited about that.

Anyway, I would love to hear feedback on the site! Thanks!

Nice design, everything works fine on it.

What calendar do you use?

Also, will the forum be integrated into the style?

Nice! What are you using for the calendar? Is it TXP integrated?

Re: My latest TXP driven site

hcgtv, I am working on getting the forum integrated into the same layout as the site. I am training the guy at the church to maintain the site using TXP and he also wants to attempt to get the forum integrated in so I am kinda letting him roll with it and just sorta overseeing it all right now.

Too bad it’s not Open Source, alas we keep looking.

I agree with you man, I have a friend that wrote a custom calendar for TXP that is identical to EasyPHPCalendar. He says he is going to release it as soon as he works out some bugs and writes some help files for it. I saw it in action and almost used it for this site but it was a little to buggy to put into a production environment. He is actively working on it though so it may not be much longer.

Cory, that’s really good news, if your friend needs help in testing or docs, tell him to email me.

Re: My latest TXP driven site

That little calendar I just posted about looks like it is functionally the same as Easy PHP Calendar, except that it is very streamlined. The download was only 64k and I had it up and running in less than 5 minutes.

If I knew PHP I would create a plugin out of this myself. It is pretty much exactly what I need, except that it is not txp-integrated. I really recommend checking it out.
