Creating a RSS feed

I’m trying to create a RSS/Atom feed for a home page so that any new post headlines/Excerpts, etc are available in the feed.

I’m using the following form on the home page sidebar:

<p><txp:feed_link label="RSS" />/<txp:feed_link label="Atom" flavor="atom" /></p>

…but keep getting an error (“bad server response” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1011)). Syndication is on for the sections I want to use and articles are Live.

I’ve searched the site and Textbook but can’t really find a step-by-step guide. Can anyone give me some guidance?
