[Solved] Making an author page with bos_author

Hi guys,

I am trying to create a author bio page. At present each article has a link to the author page. I am utilising Maurizio Boscarol’s bos_author plugin in trying to achieve this.

I have created a new section called ‘your-rep’. Each bio page is essentially an article with the section specified as ‘your’rep’. My default form is

<txp:if_category name="your-rep" limit="1">
<h1><txp:title /></h1>
<txp:body />
<txp:else />

<txp:if_article_list>
<h1><txp:permlink><txp:title /></txp:permlink></h1>

<txp:excerpt />

<p class="read"><txp:permlink>Continue Reading</txp:permlink></p>
<div><img src="<txp:site_url />images/1.gif" width="400" height="1" class="divider" alt="" /></div>

<txp:else />

<h1><txp:title /></h1>
<p class="posted">Posted <txp:posted /> by <txp:bos_author section="your-rep" /></p>

<txp:body />

<div><img src="<txp:site_url />images/1.gif" width="400" height="1" class="divider" alt="" /></div>
</txp:if_article_list>
</txp:if_category>

At present each article correctly links to the author page, however, the resulting page only outputs the header (the author name) followed by the ‘Continue Reading’ link. My intention is for the author link to directly go to the full bio page, negating the need to click on the ‘continue reading’ link.

I thought I had accomplished this by using the if:category tag, however this isn’t working as I expected. Any ideas?

Any help much appreciated (I have already tried the forum search).

Re: [Solved] Making an author page with bos_author

Solved it by creating a custom form and using in combination with ‘override form’.
