ul and ol in comments in 4.03 (textile issue?)

Is there a way to enter ul or ol in comments? Via textile or via markup? Or this is definitely forbidden?

I read something about changes in textile handling on comments, but I can’t be sure.

Thanks

Z-

In the admin area you can specify that comments are output as order list items, or not.

I think Zanza is asking why comments posted to articles don’t use the same Textile processing as the articles themselves.

I forget the reasoning, but as far as I know, commenters can’t create lists (ordered or unordered).

This was true before (pre 4.0.3 I think), but isn’t true anymore. Commenters can use block elements in their posts. (And paragraphs are formated correctly.) So you should just be able to use ‘*’ or ‘#’ to create your lists.

James was right: I meant that.

Ramanan: this doesn’t seems to happen in my 4.03 installation. * and # don’t create lists. I tried myself. There should be some setting somewhere?

I’m sorry, you appear to be correct. I can look through the source when I get home and see what’s up. (Blockquotes work, and I am pretty sure I have used lists in the past, but perhaps I am mistaken.)

Is there any news on this one?

How can I post a list in a comment?

AFAIK it’s the same at the moment. The new textileRestricted in 4.0.4 allows only p and bq block-level elements. The question of whether that has to be that way has been asked here.
