trouble with search_results form output

On download version 4.0.4
article tag, doesn’t want any other form attribute value then the custom search_results form.
I tried with the same tags, and it doesn’t output anything.

Any Ideas ?

I’d like to have a customized form for the search output, not the default search_results form

regards marios

Re: trouble with search_results form output

I think that is hardcoded somewhere, but you can always modify the search_results form…

Use searchform attribute.

Re: trouble with search_results form output

That works, it wasn’t documented in Textbook at all, so I’ve added it there.

Would this make the if_search tag redundent, if I use it together on an article tag with the form attribute ?
Does it apply to article_custom as well ?

Thanks, and best regards, marios

Re: trouble with search_results form output

It’s a relatively new attribute, I’m not sure off-hand when it appeared. But, that explains it being missing from TextBook.

article_custom isn’t context-sensitive (author, category, search…), so it doesn’t come into it.

It only makes the if_search tag redundant if that’s all you ever used it for. That’s not usually the case though.
