I’m going to put pingomatic in there instead of weblogs.com next version.
Matt? Is the remote procedure call the same?

Okay. Not to put too much pressure —- I mean, cool your heels — but when can we expect this? ;)

Re: g1.19 Released
I’m sorry, this is the first upgrade I’ve ever done. How do you do it?

Re: g1.19 Released
MattM-
Upgrading is easy: Download and untar/unzip the archive, then upload, to your /textpattern directory, all of the contents of the upgrade’s /textpattern directory (including subdirectories), except for setup.php and config.php. Without passing go, immediately run yoursite.com/textpattern/_upgrade.php, upon which you should see a message indicating that various database tables are okay.
And…that’s it, you’re done.

Re: g1.19 Released
Thank you, Dean! Your excellent work continues.
The upgrade process was completely flawless except for me forgetting to update a hack I’ve been using that, I think, might not be necessary any longer with the Txp way is handling URL Titles now.
<txp:article_image /> is possibly the greatest thing to come along in Txp ever. Well, that’s not necessarily true but the addition of that tag allows me to stop hacking Txp to get the article images I was getting by using categories and feeding that to an img tag.
The question I have now is the contents of the Article Image tag, must they be a full URL or can I enter in a path relative to the journal’s root? Better yet, can I specify a path for all article images to default to since I keep them all in the same folder anyway?
Thanks!
:R.

How am I supposed to enjoy this with you crying?

Re: g1.19 Released
Cerebus, I have been trying out the new article image tag. It can take a url (including images that have not been uploaded through Texpattern) or a path, for example, /images/15.jpg but you can also just use the id of the image. Very nice!

Do you know if it can use the image name as well? It’s much easier to remember that than the id in which it appears in the database.

Re: g1.19 Released
Is there a way to output the article_image thumbnail? For example:
<code><txp:article_image usethumbs=“true”></code> that way I could show the thumbnail on the section page and show the full image on the individual article page. With this functionality I could use the excerpt field for something else.

I haven’t been able to get it to work with the image name.
