Can’t wait to install this, though moving all my hacks over might be a challenge.

Woohoo! At last, a features list.
Now I don’t feel special anymore, because other people have it too. That’s good.

say what? what is it pinging on textpattern.com? huh? does textpattern phone home? How do I disable this? It isnt in the web config screen.
What is the point of this one? Does textpattern.com intend on publishing a page of recently updated pages?

Re: g1.19 Released
About the URL-only title, I noticed that
http://jennyishere.net/collection/85/ (original url)
and
http://jennyishere.net/collection/BasiliusBesler/ (after entered the title “BasiliusBesler”)
pointed to the same page, which is really great. But the permalink url generates by TXP is in fact something like this:
http://jennyishere.net/collection/85/BasiliusBesler
Is it possible now to get rid of the article number automatically when publish ?

Re: g1.19 Released
Now that your actively soliciting patches, and the code is GPL, do you think you might want to include a default set of useful plugins with TXP? I know I’d be honored if you included my Amazon.com services plugin.

I can’t see any tags for it, which is odd. I tried things like <code><txp:custom_1_set /></code>, but no joy. There must be a tag somewhere, surely? Otherwise its a bit pointless?

Re: g1.19 Released
The <txp:thumbnail /> tag is also added from this release.
Hope the updated tags manual today.

Hope the updated tags manual today.
Should this work in the same as <code><txp:article_image /></code>, or is its supposed to be used in a different context?

Re: g1.19 Released
Can someone in the know please respond to the question about pinging textpattern. IS this a pingomatic type thing? Anyway to add other URLs to ping by default?

On a diferent context; it’s like the other image tags: <code><txp:image_display /></code> and <code><txp:imgae_index /></code>.
In a few minutes you’ll have the images tag manual section updated.

It only phones home with the Site Name and URL when a new article is posted.

I hadn’t planned on it. If there’s interest in it I will, and listings will be entirely optional.
For the moment merely trying to get an idea of how many sites are being published.
