Choose file-Category

Hello!

I have a special problem concerning file-categories.

On my page i have 5 different file categories, and i want to show them all on a “downloads”-page. As there are several files in each category, the list would be quite long. So i thought about using a dropdown-menu (by <select>) where you can choose on of the file-categories, and then only this category gets displayed.

But after some failed tries i decided to ask for some help…

Ok, now i have a solution, not so elegant, but it works.

Basically, I use this pull-down-menu code. As it doesn’t work with file categories, i modified it to show plain articles within my “downloads” section. And each of this articles only has the txp:file_download_list in it.

Now a list of downloads appears if you select one of the categories (which are articles).

If someone’s interested, i can also post more of the template-code.
