Re: Ebl_batchupload
@Algaris – Try again, and paste the contents of of the debug window. Sounds like it could be another of the same error that digitalrealm has.
@Arengula – 406 error? Are you sure that’s not a 403 or 404 erorr, a 406 error would be a bit odd. Do you have the directories setup as shown in the above image?
@DigitalRealm – I’m working on a new version that should hopefully solve your issue.

Re: Ebl_batchupload
Cool, thanks for the help and the work you are doing! I have done a little more testing but I am still unable to get it to generate thumbnails of any kind.
Please let me know if you need any further info that may help you with a new version.

DigitalRealm – Does the built in Textpattern thumbnailing work?

Re: Ebl_batchupload
Yes, I can manually create thumbnails in TXP using the default method. After I uploaded images using your plug-in, I manually made thumbs using the default TXP way just to see if it worked.

Re: Ebl_batchupload
In textpattern, delete the previous version and install This
Ok. This SHOULD Fix your problem. If it doesn’t, post the debug output.
edit
I’m a moron. That was the link to version 1.00 – I updated with the correct link to version 1.01

Re: Ebl_batchupload
Wow! It appears as though your updated version has worked perfectly! I will test a few other times to make sure that all the different options work as they should.
With the new one, I am getting a “<” character in Resized column for every image that I uploaded. I checked it to resize but I left the width/height blank. It did not resize the images. The images (I do believe) where smaller than the default resize anyway, would this be why?
Thanks for the work! It appears to work great now and I will let you know more after a little more testing.
EDIT
Ok, all appears to be working fine. Just a few other questions real quick to make sure that I understand…
- If the resize/thumbnail sizes are left blank, it defaults to 640×480 / 80×80 correct?
- If you input a size in either the width/height but not the other, what happens?
- Does the plug-in automatically scale images proportion wise if only one figure is entered?
Thanks again for the excellent work, BTW, how can I donate a little cash to you for your work?

Re: Ebl_batchupload
< basically means that the uploaded image was smaller than the defaulted image size. This plugin defaults to 640×480 as the max size if resize is selected, but nothing entered for the dimensions and 100×100 for the thumbnails.

Re: Ebl_batchupload
I upgraded to 1.01 with A.008 for the flash file and tried again. Exactly the same thing happened again, no categories displayed and although the images appeared to be uploaded they got stuck in the batchupload folder again.
I ticked the Debug option but nothing was displayed there during the process.

Resize is 640×100
Thumbnails are 100×100
(these values can be changed by editing the php)

That side then becomes the max. So if you were to put 600 in the height field for resize, then the maximum dimensions would be 600×480

Yes. See above.

Well, the plugin ransom was met… but if you do feel inclined, there is a donate link at the bottom of my code page. :)

Re: Ebl_batchupload
Algaris – Your problem is unrelated to the above. I’m not exactly sure why it’s not doing anything. Would it be possible for you to create a test account for me to debug with?
