<txp:popup type="s" section=section-1 />
I assume that this use of the popup tag should generate a drop-down section list that is initially positioned at “Section 1”. If my assumption is true there is some misbehaviour, from my point of view:
1. When the article list page that contains this tag is loaded initially, the drop-down list is positioned at top blank, and no section filtering is done. The browser address field says nothing additional (ends …/)
2. When (e.g.) “Section 2” is selected the articles are filtered OK. The browser address ends …/?s=section-1&s=section-2
3. If then top blank is selected the article filter is removed as is expected. The browser address however shows …/?s=section-1&s=
Maybe 2 and 3 behave as intended but that the “Section 1” filter is missing in 1? That is, the preselection should be generated by an always-present ?s=section-1 suffix that is subsequently overridden by another suffix where also ?s=section-1&s=section-1 may be generated
(I use “clean URL” which works generally but assume that a filtered article-list must show up differently)

Re: <txp:popup type="s" section=section-1 />
The section attribute is not for selecting which popup is active, it is for the same purpose as for other tags that use it: to determine what page the popup points to (default page or, section page). It’s meant for use with type="c".
That said, it should ignore the section attribute completely when using the section type (because it’s not only pointless, it can cause an incorrect/confusing url). I’ve corrected this in r2076.

Re: <txp:popup type="s" section=section-1 />
OK, thanks, I’ve twisted my mind into the assumed way to use the link-to-section and link-to-category tools and will probably soon resolve most remaining navigation details — please apologize bothering you! / Tore
