RSS Feed Issue
Following the Troubleshooting Feed Issues
- I tried Feedvalidator.org and it tells me
- Not a gzipped file (Server response declares Content-Encoding: gzip; misconfigured server?)
- Here is a feed url and a messy one for good measure
- Sections were double checked as well, the correct ones are marked to be syndicated

Update:
Is anyone having difficulties with their feeds with 4.0.4?
When I click the auto link in FF it tells me:
“C:/Some/path/some/temp/file could not be saved because the source file could not be read.
Try again later, or contact the server administrator”
Feed validator tells me it’s not a gzipped file. Has anyone else ever had this before?

What’s happening is, that there is an error-message which is messing up the gzip-compression. In such cases the feed can be fetched with a client that does not support compression (like wget). These are your error-messages:

As I wrote:

I did just that, and those wore the errors at the top of the page.
Do you have the plugin installed? Is it activated? Otherwise remove the tags calling it. Are you using the most up to date version of the plugin? Are you using it in the way it is meant to be used?
Are you running in testing or debugging mode? Then switch to Live mode which will suppress error-messages.

Thanks Sencer, it was fixed after your first description. I was just wondering how you got it to download (I had to google to figure out what wget is)

Just for your reference I was running in live mode and the call to the plugin blocked the RSS feed. I thought this was only supposed to happen in degug mode?
