Removing the admin tabs

This is really annoying me because I have read a post on this subject in these forums before and I can’t find it again.

Basically I use textpattern as a CMS rather than a blog and have absolutely no need for comments at all.

So how do I remove the “Comments” tab from the admin area?

in textpattern/lib/admin_config.php go to the very bottom. There you can remove permissions to access/view the the comments tab. With Textpattern 4.0.4+ this means the tab will also not be shown in the navigation.
