Commenting goes to Error page (404)

So I’ve upgraded to 4.0.4, yay. I fixed the problems that I was having yesterday Now I have a new crop of problems:

  • When someone tries to comment on my site it goes directly to the 404 ERROR page.

I’ve tried to remedy the problem myself by reverting to the default forms but I still receive the same problem. I’ve also deactivated all plug-ins and am currently studying the tag trace, but I have to admit that I’m quite lost as to what I’m looking at. I’m not going to post it here because it is easier to peruse on the site itself (It’s really long). Here’s a link to an article on the site

Any ideas?

(Edit: Added link to short article)

(Edit: Before telling me about this you should know that I’m hosted on Textdrive. And that it doesn’t work in EITHER clean or messy url mode)

Re: Commenting goes to Error page (404)

Sigh, you have edited your error_templates and removed the the
<txp:error_status /> and <p><txp:error_message /> tags, therefor you are not seeing the actual error-message. Your http-code clearly shows a 403, which means you are likey hit by this problem:

If you want to make 404—only page with custom text and no txp-error-tags, then please call it error_404, and leave error_default the way it was (with the tags) so that other error-messages still work.
