turn off debugging mode *for* the admin interface?
the website looks fine, but once in the admin section, under the comments tab and articles tab, there’s a whole list of
Notice: Undefined index: section in /users/home/xxx/public_html/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php(512) : eval()’d code on line 42
Notice: Undefined variable: Section in /users/home/xxx/public_html/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php(512) : eval()’d code on line 43
and so on. in preferences, i’m in the live mode of course, but i remember reading somewhere in these forums that the admin interface is always in debug mode. can i turn that off somehow? or is this something i shouldn’t ignore? i’ve figured out which plugin is causing this, but it’s pretty crucial to keep, for now at least.
thanks for any help ~ ~

I have just updated txp to 4.0.4 and having the same problem, any ideas?

Looking at the error message (eval), I’d say that a plugin causes this. Try disabling them one by one and see which one causes it.

You’re right, I have tried to disable plugins one by one and found one to blame; nck_olm, which allows txp user to override permanent link mode for each section. Since I am using the latest version of the plugin (1.4), I have to wait for an update I guess :(

If I search for nck_olm, I find this topic that suggest using the gbp_permanent_links plugin.
BTW. I installed that 1.4 version of nck_olm myself on txp4.0.4 but didn’t see any errors.
Try re-setting the “linkmode” in the extensions tab
