Error message -
After I entered a path in the “plugin cache directory” field of adv. preferences I get this error message when I try to load my site:
Ein Fehler trat auf beim Laden des Plugins: index -> Notice: Constant txpinterface already defined on line 14
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare pretext() (previously declared in /home/www/ww6199/html/notes/textpattern/publish.php:187) in /home/www/ww6199/html/notes/textpattern/publish.php on line 187
This message appears when I try to access the admin interface:
Ein Fehler trat auf beim Laden des Plugins: index -> Notice: Constant txpinterface already defined on line 14
config.php is missing or corrupt. To install Textpattern, visit textpattern/setup/
config.php is neither missing nor (as far as I can tell) corrupt.
Any ideas? Thanks!

Re: Error message -
What is inside your plugin cache folder?

Re: Error message -
That’s the problem: I think I entered the root folder instead of the cache folder but I can’t get to the interface to change it – and I didn’t find it in the DB via phpMyAdmin.

Re: Error message -
When the plugin-cache-dir dir set, all php files in that directory will be included. Therefor the folder you set should not contain anything but your plugins.
You can change the value in the prefs-table via phpmyadmin.

Thanks – that solved it. I removed the entry in the prefs table. Don’t know why I hadn’t found it before.
