ok, just how do i install a new theme?

i’m having one of those it’s-so-simple-yet-i-cannot-see-it moments.

how do i install a theme in textpattern??? i have seached the various community sites and resources and i just don’t see any instructions on how to do so.

help?

You’ve found no instructions as to how to install a theme because, well… there aren’t any :-)

Unfortunately, “themes” (in a strictly drop-and-go sense) are not supported by Textpattern v4.0.x. More on that here and here.

This is a pretty high-priority feature (in terms of attracting users and usability) that will be implemented at some point in a future version of Textpattern, but I am not up to date on its current development state.

Have you written it yet?

Most of the themes on Textgarden and Textplates come with installation instructions.

When I say “high priority”, I mean to say IMHO high priority. However, there is no relation between my opinion and reality.
