Bookmarks for forums/Textpattern resources

This is a pretty big request but I thought I’d throw it out there. I have an alarming amount of bookmarks and Textpattern isn’t helping. I have bookmarks saved for some of the main FAQ entries; Textbook entries; Textpattern Resources; Textile; frequently referenced developer’s websites, articles and tutorials; forum posts; etc. Mostly items that it took a bit of stumbling to find and I’m afraid I’ll forget where or how I found it.

It would be great to have a way to help users manage these scattered resources such as a shared (by the Textpattern websites) account with a feature to “bookmark” pages that are saved to a central location. Obviously this could only apply to ‘internal’ websites and not ‘external’ items such as tutorials on a developer’s personal website. But, since many of those external items are first found referenced internally they could be marked that way.

Again, I realize this is a huge request and that this situation is certainly not unique to Textpattern (I’m looking at you PayPal!) so please be gentle! :)

By the way, speaking of PayPal, their developer forums offer some nice features that I find very helpful regarding bookmarks and subscriptions. I’m not sure if you need an account to view them but here’s the link: PayPal Developer Community

Uh, isn’t that what browser bookmarks are for?
