form calls itself: LOOP (in 4.0.4)

stupid / in 4.0.4 release / 15 mins. ago

i used an output form for a sidebar calling an article form default justtitle, which was (error!) using a tag like this <txp:article_custom form=“default justtitle” /> 15 mins ago.

OUCH: LOOP! edit:(?)

the textpattern site doesn’t respond since then. uhm. i am just hoping, that the loop will stop by itself at some point, if not: what could i do to stop it?

edit: stopped now. i am not quite clear what stopped it. i killed a process in phpMyAdmin, deleted cookies in my browser and relogged.

A hole turned upside down is a dome, when there’s also gravity.

Wow, textpattern is really fast… an infinite number of loops in just 15 minutes ;)

A properly configured server will kill runaway processes after a certain time.

Always test on a development server before a live one.
