FTP'ing Images
When I FTP images directly into the images folder, they do not show up in images list. If I make a article using that image using the img src tag and image filename, the article and image shows on the front page but is not listed in articles list.
Is there a way to get this article and image to be listed in their proper places?
Thanks..

Re: FTP'ing Images
They won’t show up since you didn’t upload them via the admin section.

You want images in the textpattern CMS, not just sitting in a directory. Textpattern can ‘remember’ a whole bunch about these images, including caption, and category information, and you can do things like build smart galleries and assign images to articles.
The best way to get a whole lot of images into textpattern? fpx_image_import or something like it.
This should make you life much easier.

Re: FTP'ing Images
Thanks for the replies, I downloaded the plugin and will install now. Also got some useful info in “how to make a photoblog”.
