Leave image filename as is

When I upload a image, it stores it as a number. Is there a way to leave the filename as is? (it’s difficult to tell which image it is when you have just numbers)

Or, is there a way to list what number is what filename?

The image tab shows both name and ID#. You can search by name and by ID#

Thanks ruud, I completely missed that id number in images.

I’ve always hated the ID as the image filename thing. I don’t quite see the purpose of it.

IIRC that was how the patch was submitted to us back then, and it hasn’t been “fixed” yet.
