Warning: Raw PHP tags are deprecated
I have read the available threads on this, but none of them work for me as solutions. I tried replacing all the <?php and ?> with <txp:php> and </txp:php> tags while obeying the required syntax and scoping, but I still get this warning at the top of the page with the php form in question. I have made certain the site is set to Live not testing or debug. I have allowed for raw php. The form works, but I can’t get the warning to go away. Any ideas?

Re: Warning: Raw PHP tags are deprecated
http://textpattern.com/weblog/245/textpattern-404-updates explains that the appearance of the warning message in live-mode is actually a bug in 4.0.4.
Potential Solutions:
1) You should try to change your template according to:
http://textpattern.com/faq/34/how-do-i-use-php-code
(Read the part about escaping to HTML)
2) Use one of the solutions suggested here:
http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?id=19338
3) Manualy apply these changes:
