Re: Firefox 2.0

Has anyone tried clicking the RSS link in a Textpattern 4.0.3 site using FF 2.0rc1?

Re: Firefox 2.0

Well, before it would ask you to download the file, now it puts up a pretty screen, with the feed’s content, where you can subscribe in your application of choice.

Just thought I’d mention it.

Re: Firefox 2.0

With Textpattern 4.0.4, I added this to the top of my sites:

<txp:feed_link flavor="atom" format="link" label="Atom" />
<txp:feed_link flavor="rss" format="link" label="RSS" />

For some reason Firefox 2.0rc3 grabs the Atom feed from the live bookmark icon on the url bar, no matter what order I put the feed links. So I removed the Atom link so that it would default to RSS.

Anyone figured out why, I did a search and came up empty.

Nightly tester tool can help.
But I prefer the manual job. Dive into your Fx profile folder Extensions folder, find the extension and edit the max version in the install.rdf file. Works quite well for me, as I always the latest trunk builds.

Re: Firefox 2.0

Despite the many links and news-stories on Firefox2.0 being released, apparently it ain’t released, until it’s released:
