4.0.4 en-gb.txt is 4.0.1?
The en-gb.txt in the download zip says <notextile><code>#@version 4.0.1;1127915659</code></notextile>. It’s definitely different from rpc.textpattern.com/lang/en-gb.txt, that says <notextile><code>#@version 4.0.4;1160770924</code></notextile>.
I only noticed when I made some changes to the file and re-installed the language from the file (that’s easier done than making the changes in the database).

Yeah, it only shows the wrong version, the language strings are actually all new. It has to with some side-effects and implementations details on the backend-stuff we use.

I don’t think the strings are all new. The file included in the zip has 794 lines, the new one 1026. There were also quite a few missing strings after I installed from the file.

Yupp, you’re right, I got confused with the other language-related files in setup. We have some redundancy there, so in general that file is never used (setup uses another file, if RPC can’t be reached). Thanks for letting us know. We’ll either remove or update it for the next release.
