Is there a way to not allow certain words to be posted in comments?
I apologize if this has been gone over somewhere before; I searched the FAQ, forums and textbook but did not see anything about not allowing certain words in comments. I would like to know if there is a way that you can keep certain words (swears, etc.) from being posted in comments. Or, is there an option to view each comment before it is posted? Thanks

Built-in is comment-moderation, i.e. you can view each comment before making it publicly viewable.
If you wan to disalow certain words, there is a plugin called mrw_spamkeywords_urlcount which let’s you define certain “bad words”. You can edit the plugin to add words, and to change whether those comments should be marked as “hidden (unmoderated)”, “hidden (spam)” or whether the comment-form shoud be reloaded until the user has removed the words (you’d probably need to make it output an error-message for that to be useful).
