Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_savenew: "Save New" button for articles and forms.

I know. When a new stable version is released I go through all my plugins to ensure they still work. :)

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_savenew: "Save New" button for articles and forms.

This plugin only puts the desired button on my forms page. Currently running 4.0.3 with the following plugins installed

chh_article_custom
chh_article_lib
chh_if_data
rss_admin_db_manager
rss_admin_resize
rss_admin_show_adv_opts
zem_link
zem_prblock

EDIT: I just turned off all the plugins, turned them on again and the button shows up as expected. Hope this trick proves useful for some of you having problems

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_savenew: "Save New" button for articles and forms.

i missed this feature from my very first day clicking around in txp. thank you for writing this one, mary!

again, i’m just clicking around in a completely fresh installation and writing some articles and comments with hints for my client for his opening, and discover that the affiliate comments are taken away from their original article when i duplicate them, as if the duplicate being the master. I’ve never needed comments before, but maybe this time they suit my client fine.

Edit: i cannot reproduce this. sorry, mary.

Hello Mary,

Are you still working on your plugins? I thought I read you were leaving the community or somesuch?

This plugin is incredibly useful – any chance of an update for version 4.0.4? It doesn’t seem to be working…

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_savenew: "Save New" button for articles and forms.

Is is not the only admin plugin that doesn’t work anymore.
Mary was aware of it even before the 4.04 release I think…
So I hope we’ll have some news from her soon. :-)

How to prevent showing save new for others than Publisher and Managing Editor. For the rest I like to have this button not visible.

There’s no way for the plugin to do that, at present.
