Forms & CSS reverting and changes not immediate
I’ve been having some really strange problems lately. Aside from my forms and CSS reverting to past versions without my consent, I find that changes made to forms are not immediate. I have repaired tables using rss_admin and my article content is not affected by the problem, so it cant be a MySQL thing..i think.
For an example of stubborn change, checkout this page
Scroll to the bottom under heading “Recent News” if you view source you will see that I have a bunch of A tags wedged inside one LI, thats because TXP refuses to recognize that my form for recent_news has LI tags.
Anyone else deal with this glitch?

Old Versions are not stored in or by textpattern, so while I believe you that something may be reverting it, it can’t be textpattern.

If you are using one of the pre-releases, then this might be connected to Last-Modified-Header. Tr turning that off in preferences. Also try clearing the cache of the browser, and force-reloading the page.

When you repair tables, it is not a deterministic process. Sometimes you can loose data, sometimes you don’t. If it was deterministic, mysql would do it automatically and not bother waiting for someone to do it. So it is possible that it is related to mysql.
First goal in troubleshooting should be to figure out whether the error is repeatable.

Thanks for the feedback Sencer
I figured out part of the problem was me calling up the form using form instead of listform.
Still cant explain the random reverts though
maybe its my host

What version are you using?
Does the problem ever occur in Testing mode?
