Size of input fields in comment form --> Size attribute?

The size of the input fields in the comment form, e.g. for variables like <txp:comment_name_input /> is currently specified in the txp-files.

Would it be possible to integrate that into the tag, which allows for a size-attribute?

Re: Size of input fields in comment form --> Size attribute?

it is integrated in the comments tags already, but not documented yet, i believe (maybe that changed meanwhile)

<txp:comments_form isize=“40” msgcols=“60” />

some more possible attributes:

  • isize (default: “25”)
  • msgrows (default: “5”)
  • msgcols (default: “25”)
  • msgstyle (default: unset)
  • form (default: “comment_form”)
(once mentioned by mary here )

A hole turned upside down is a dome, when there’s also gravity.

Re: Size of input fields in comment form --> Size attribute?

Thank you very much.

Indeed, this is not documented yet.

http://textpattern.net/wiki/index.php?title=Txp:comments_form_/

And it might be good, to give the user a hint in the single input field documentation how to change this.

I’ll contact the documentation-team.

You don’t have to contact anybody: Just register an account for the wiki :)
