Warning: Can't open file: 'txp_lang.MYI'

Hey everyone,

I’m new to Textpattern, and I’m experiencing a bit of trouble. I installed 4.0.4 yesterday, and everything was working just fine. Today, when I went to my site to work again, I’m getting error messages.

I’m getting the following error message on my site’s pages:

Warning: Can't open file: 'txp_lang.MYI' (errno: 145) select name from txp_lang where lang='en-us' limit 1 in /users/home/sakeel/web/public/sak/textpattern/lib/txplib_db.php on line 84

Warning: Can't open file: 'txp_lang.MYI' (errno: 145) select name, data from txp_lang where lang='en-gb' in /users/home/sakeel/web/public/sak/textpattern/lib/txplib_db.php on line 84

At the top of the Diagnostics page I get:

mysql_table_errors: txp_lang: error: Size of indexfile is: 1024 Should be: 53248, txp_lang: error: Corrupt

I tried installing the language files, but it doesn’t seem to be making a difference. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix this?

If you have access to phpMyAdmin, do a repair table on txp_lang, hopefully that should do it.
