Problem with RPC server doesn't allow me to upgrade
I’ve been trying to upgrade my TXP by clicking on the Admin section’s button that checks if there is a new version, but it says there’s some problem with the RPC server. How could I fix this? Thanks in advance.

The button doesn’t do the upgrade for you, it just checks to see if there’s one available.
What problem does it say?

Translating from Spanish to English, it says “There’s been a problem when connecting to RPC server”.
So, should I upgrade manuall then? (via FTP, I mean). I’ve checked some FAQs, but I’m not sure on how I should do it.

Upgrading manually is the only way to upgrade Textpattern. An Automatic would a) result in serious security issues, and b) would not be allowed by most hosting setups and their security restrictions. Hence an automated way o upgrading was not developed.
I’ve checked some FAQs, but I’m not sure on how I should do it.
