can't upgrade to 4.04
I apologize if this isn’t the place to post upgrade problems, but I can’t find a thread on 4.04.
When following the upgrade directions and transferring everything from the 4.04 textpattern/directory to the 4.03 textpattern/directory only a few files are updated/replaced before I get to this error:
Server said:
Rename /website/me/textpattern/include: Device or resource busy
Error -150: could not rename remote file
I’ve tried several times with the same result regarding the file/folder ‘include’.
Any ideas?

Re: can't upgrade to 4.04
I think you should raise a support ticket at your host, since the uploading of files is an elementary feature of your hosting setup. There’s really not much anybody else can do about it.
You could try uploading into a parallel directory with a different name, and then renaming the two directories to work around it, but that may not work either. (Be sure to copy config.php etc. over to the new directory if you do so).

Re: can't upgrade to 4.04
Wait, what if I deleted the include folder from my old installation, since that’s the one giving me trouble, and replaced it with the new one. Would I be harming anything?

No, just make sure you have a backup of everything and now how to restore things.

Re: can't upgrade to 4.04
Ok, I have the 4.04 running, but now I have one diagnostic error. It reads: site_url_mismatch.
I’ve searched in the forums but haven’t found much. Any ideas?

Re: can't upgrade to 4.04
That means your site URL setting doesn’t match the URL you are using to access the txp admin page. Your site URL might be incorrect, or it might be a spurious warning.

No, your site url is not corect. You have it set as teamryan.com when it should be teamryan.com/gary.

Re: can't upgrade to 4.04
I have Site URL set as ‘teamryan.com/gary’, not teamryan.com.
If I change site url to ‘teamryan.com’ diagnostics says everything is fine. Then when you go to teamryan.com/gary you get an error page. Change site url back to teamryan.com/gary and my site works again, but diagnostics goes back to giving me a site error.
I can take a screenshot of my settings if needed, but I’m baffled at how this is a problem with the settings.
