Mary, I spoke too soon.
When I go add an image and put in a thumb value, the thumb_* fields show up in Advanced Preferences.

I’m at r1925 and I still see this:
Cleared my cache, it’s showing up on my test site that has been running for some time and on a fresh install as of r1919.

Yes, ‘cuz once it’s there it won’t go away (because this was an svn addition, not pre-existing, there’s no update script to correct that). You’d need to have a fresh install.

r1927 – all is well on a new install.
For my existing test site, I used phpMyAdmin to change the 3 thumb_ records in txp_prefs to a type 2, the preferences are not showing up anymore in Advanced Preferences.
