Black Elk Wine
Did this one awhile ago but forgot to put it up here …
It’s not very complex but just another example of a non-blog TXP site. Actually, the most challenging part of the site was the Our Wines page, which uses a faily complex CSS-based image map.

WoW! I´m really impressed! First of all it´s a well crafted site. And the map is just beautiful… will study this later on.

Really nice – excellent palette, lovely sense of space. The CSS image map does indeed sound like it warrants some study…
A few thoughts:
- You might want to strengthen the colour of the site tagline in the header – I found the italics in particular slightly hard to read
- Perhaps make the site banner a clickable link to get back to the home page – there’s no obvious navigation route back there otherwise
- The first link in the site navigation bar (“A Unique Wine Brand”) breaks the vertical line of the main column of text – perhaps it could move slightly left to stay more consistent with the implied grid
These are very small points though – it looks really classy.
