Add fields to show in admin articles tab

Hi all, here’s the question: as in the subject, i need to add some other fields to show in the “admin” article listing tab. In particular, i’d like custom_field1 and article_image to be shown, in addition to the classic fields like publish date, title, section and so on.
Is there a plugin or hack or some other way to do it?

Thanks in advance

Re: Add fields to show in admin articles tab

Thanks, but i mean the article-list tab, not in the write tab. See, the “articles” tab in the admin returns some columns (like publish date, title and so on) to retrieve your saved articles. I’d like to visualize more columns, like, say, article_custom1…

You’d have to modify a core file to add new stuff to the display, but I’ve no idea what you mean by “…like, say, article_custom1…”

Yes, thanks a lot mary.

Edit: Sorry, but i think i’m not able to do it myself… how can i show article_custom1 insted of cat2, or simply add a column showing article_custom1?
Thanks again, i know it’s a quite technical question… :(

Re: Add fields to show in admin articles tab

Since I have no idea what article_custom1 is supposed to be, I really couldn’t say.

AFAIK, I don’t think you need to know what each article article_custom1 contains, i just want to display a column showing every article_custom1 value for each article… Just like you see, for example, the section assigned to each article (in the article list tab).
I thought i could use the cat.2 column to do this, simply because i use only one category for each one of my articles, so that column is always empty…
