Category Plugin
Is there any category plugin that will give me a layout like:
Category 1 (1)
Category 2 (5)
Category 3 (9)
Category 4 (11)
Category 5 (2)
Where Category 1 represents the category name and (number) represents the amount of posts in that category.
If not, is this something people would like (ie should I develop a plugin to this)?

I sorted this issue, just in case anybody was wondering what I did, I just hacked rss_suparchive_bycat to show things the way I wanted (ie. no messy urls for category links, getting post count number inside the anchor tag and removing an id from the returned output).

Try my plugin, cbs_category_list, it’s small and it does that efficiently.
It’s more efficient to call my plugin once instead of using mdn_count for each category.
And it’s also more efficient than rss_suparchive_bycat since this plugin is bigger and does multiple SQL queries in a loop, my plugin just does one SQL query for all categories.
