designer wanted
I’m looking to hire someone to renovate my academic / personal blog, which is already in Textpattern, and to do some other things with my Textdrive space, including a couple of other blogs for friends. I would also like to import a couple of old Blogger blogs. I’m a writer & can maintain a site once it’s put together, but don’t really have the talent or inclination to do the technical side. While this is not a big-money commerical job, there is perhaps the opportunity to do something creative. (And I understand that professionals deserve to be paid professional rates, though if you are a hungry beginner who wants to demonstrate your chops, that’s cool too.) My current very simple Textpattern blog can be found at chujoe.net. If you or someone you know might be interested in this small job, please email me at duemer at gmail dot com.

Re: designer wanted
Perhaps people are too shy to suggest themselves? Nah, that can’t be it. Anyhow, if you don’t want to email me, leave a message here. And if you aren’t interested yourself, but know somebody who might like to give me a hand, I’d appreciate that information, too.
