import from old txp installs

hi guys,

i’m just setting up my new site using txp and want to import the content of my old sites; but the problem is that i can’t import the databases due to the fact that the id of the posts is the same, can i?
is it possible to import the content of an txp installation such as from other blog systems like moveable type or wordpress?
