CSS: Headmast is shifting down as if a margin is set
Hello. I am having some problems of some windows machines in IE (if I remember correctly) where my headmast is shifting down leaving whitespace. I don’t have a windows machine right now so I can’t test. However the dark gray bar should be at the top of the browser window.

I just tested it in IE6, 7 (technical preview/rc), FF, and Opera, and it looks fine, except in Opera there was ~6000px of blank space after the content.
Here’s a screenshot (click for screenshots from above browsers -800kb):
EDIT: Just noticed I butchered “Preview” in the screenshot.

Thanks JM. I test on about 4 different xp machines at work. Often I get different results from both.
What part of Montana are you in. I lived and went to school in Missoula. I also spent some time up north in Whitefish. Ah….I miss it so.

I go to school in Great Falls and almost transferred to UM this year, but it’d require another year of school, so I figure I’ll stick it out at UGF. I’ve lived here for a year and a half, but I haven’t been to Whitefish yet, though I should be able to go snowboarding at Big Mountain this winter. Winter might come a little early—Showdown resort (~1.5hrs from Great Falls) has been getting some snow since last week. Time to crack out the board and boots!
Is this the only ski resort in Tennessee?

Big Mountain is great. Short lift lines, great snow, and good people. I’m not sure about TN skiing, except that I could never bring myself to board anywhere near here. Montana, Idaho, Colorado, B.C., Washington, Utah… The west is the best.
I leave it that since this is off topic. Take it easy.

It isn’t just IE, there is a gap in FF too. Take the left float off the #headmast DIV.

Thanks. I took the float off. Does it look ok now?
