search_results and the default page ... !?

I did what TextBook suggests so the results would be rendered on a new page … putting section=“search” in the search_input tag; I made a new section called ‘search’; I made a new page called ‘search’ … but nevertheless, the results are still on the default page. Help!

Re: search_results and the default page ... !?

I want the search_results on an other page than the default page. I did everything by the (Text)Book … and still the default page is used!

Under Presentation>Section, did you make sure the section uses the search page? You followed this article?

Re: search_results and the default page ... !?

The TextBook way: < txp:search_input section=“search” label=“search” wraptag=“p” / > didn’t work. I don’t know why …

The JustinFrench way did the trick: < txp:output_form form=“search_input” label=“search” wraptag=“p” / > … but beware at step 5 … it has to be ‘search_input’ and not ‘search-input’ … hours gone by before I noticed the error … aaaaaaarrrrggggg.

Thanks to all.

PS
Don’t mind the space between < and the TXP tag … it’s a hack to have some code here!
