[plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_dropcash
zem_dropcash is a new plugin that displays the progress of a Dropcash donation campaign.
The plugin is not yet available for download – as an experiment, I’m holding it for ransom until a donation target has been reached. Donations are handled by Dropcash, of course, with the progress displayed in near-real-time by the plugin itself.

Neither were original. David Raynes did the same thing with MT.

Bumped to 0.2. Changes:
- Changed zem_dropcash_if parameters to ‘min’ and ‘max’
- zem_dropcash_link now uses different link text once the target is reached.

This plugin doesn’t work properly for me because Dreamhost has disabled allow_url_fopen.
Is there a workaround?

I’m afraid not, that’s the core of the plugin, how it works. :(
You could try and work around this yourself by using AJAX, I think.

Yeah I figured I’d just re-write it, I’m happy to just use the DropCash badge for the time being though!

Is there any way to make the “donate now” link go directly to the paypal page (rather than to the dropcash campaign first)? I took the paypal form from the source code on my dropcash campaign’s page and pasted it in place of the “donate now” link on my textpattern site — just curious if donations will still register with dropcash?
