How do I use rss_admin_db_manager?
I’ve read the help that comes with this plugin and just can’t seem to figure it out. Everytime I go to the db backup tab and then click on .sql for my save as file type I continue to get a 404 error saying the page cannot be found. I’ve tried the default settings, I’ve tried every other combination of settings that it will allow with no luck. Can someone tell me what I might be doing wrong here?
Thanks

Sound like your back up path to the ‘files’ folder is probably wrong
Open your config.php file check your ‘txpath’ path there. It should read something like
/xxx/yyy/zzz/aaa/bbb/textpattern
Basically your path for db_manager is the same except without textpattern in the end but files instead ie
/xxx/yyy/zzz/aaa/bbb/files
Also the particular ‘files’ folder should have 777 permissions
The ‘files’ path is in the ‘db backup’ tab

Re: How do I use rss_admin_db_manager?
Still no go. lol.
I checked the config.php file and it said my ‘txpath’ was /aaa/bbb/public_html/textpattern. I went to the db backup tab in textpattern and changed my backup path to /aaa/bbb/public_html/backup (and created a new ‘backup’ directory under public_html with permissions to 777).
mysqldump path says ‘mysqldump’
mysql path says ‘mysql’
I have ‘lock tables’ to NO and ‘debug mode’ to NO. Still get a 404 error.
What do you think now?
