i’m in $100 for the ransom of a finished plugin. would you consider turning this in to an open project and releasing what you have into the wild. i know that i’m pretty hot for something like this (someone directed me to this thread from my own post) and it looks like others are, too.

any news on this.
My wife’s looking to set-up a small store online.
She’s used to textpattern so i would prefer this route (and my php is very rough so i don’t havethe right skill to turn the cart into a plugin myself)
i’ve seen http://www.freecsscart.com/ but it’s not ready yet.
I have $ to help with any ransom and am sure many people would do the same.

In no way, shape, or form am I trying to take attention away from wilshire, here. On the contrary, if he goes forward with producing a PayPal integration plugin for us all, I’m with it 150% and he’ll get my money.
However, and I think Wilshire would understand me here, we know he’s busy, and you should also know there is a Plugin Request thread where something like this can be picked up (and where Wilshire can officially claim it if he wants). There’s even a PayPal Integration request posted. I would recommend everyone focus attention over there, and make your ransom bids there too, that way this thing really gets some legs.
I’ll add the first bid over there at $50 U.S.. I hope ya’ll who piped in earlier will route your bids accordingly. Mary will surely keep the pot tallied as they come in.

FYI: Team Textpattern are gathering requirements for an integrated e-commerce application. Something more complex and capable than a simple Paypal cart.
Anyone who’s working on a commercial project for which this might be a suitable solution, feel free to get in touch.
