installation: order of list of available languages
Well, this is not really a bug, but it confuses me since a long time:
If your doing a clean install and want to select a language, these are not ordered alphabetically, so it’s hard to see if your native language is available at all. Could this be changed?

That’s how the list is looking by now:
- English (US)
- Français
- Español
- Dansk
- Ελληνικά
- Svenska
- Italiano
- Čeština
- 日本語
- Deutsch
- Norsk
- Português
- Русский
- Slovenčina
- ไทย
- Nederlands
- Íslenska(Icelandic)
- Suomi
I’m speaking German, so I’m looking for “German” or “Deutsch”, so I presume my language is filled under “g” or “d”. An unsorted list (as it is now) is confusing…

Anything new about that? It would be great if the languages were ordered by the first letter. Two possibilities:
- Ordered alphabetically by their english names (Danish, English, French, German, Spanish …)
- Ordered alphabetically by their original names (Dansk, Deutsch, English, Español, Français …)
Any order would be much appreciated!

They are in order, actually – in order by their lang code (en-gb, fr-fr, etc), makes it easy when adding new langs (see setup-langs.php).
You realize that you can get to your lang by focusing the lang dropdown and hitting “D” on your keyboard, right?

Hmm… Well, I see they are in order on the “Manage Language” tab. But when I start the installation (/textpattern/setup) I get the following in the source code:

<option value="hu-hu">Magyar</option>I can’t see any logical order (neither by lang code nor by lang name). Is something wrong with my installation or do we talk about different things?
edit: I checked my files. The languages are ordered in /textpattern/setup/setup-lang.php, but the array in function langs() in /textpattern/setup/index.php is unordered:
