Migration: SQL import problems
Hi,
I’m trying to move a txp to a new server. I’ve made a dump of the database and when trying to import it to the new database (via Phpmyadmin) I get the follwing error:
- - BLOB/TEXT column ‘Body’ used in key specification without a key length
Has anyone come across this before? my knowledge of SQL isn’t great.

From which mysql-version did you export? Into which mysql-version are you trying to import?

Re: Migration: SQL import problems
O.k…
I contacted the host of the originating server and asked if they could make a dump for me as I don’t have shell access. This new dump imported fine so it was the crappy mysql interface they had in place that was causing the problem.
Problem solved.
