add .html to clean permlink
hi, i would add .html at the end of the clean url.
all clean url work, but after adding .html to the various cases in function permlinkurl (taghandlers.php), i’ve got a 404 error, except for those with /id/.
gbp_faux doesn’t work well for this.
help! :)

Re: add .html to clean permlink
You can edit the URL title for each article and add the .html (Advanced Options on content > write).
If your goal is to preserve consistency with an old URL structure, you’d be better off redirecting old URLs to new ones.

Re: add .html to clean permlink
That’s because you’ve got no articles with those urls.

Re: add .html to clean permlink
and is possible to write .html somewhere so textpattern skips it and take only the exact title and show article? or i have to add .html in url title in advanced options for all the future articles? (erasing .html added in taghandlers)

Re: add .html to clean permlink
You’ll have to add it to the url title for each article.
Ask yourself what you’re trying to achieve. If it’s backwards compatibility, just add it to existing articles and/or use redirection. Don’t worry about adding .html to future articles, there’s no reason to.
If you’re adding .html because you like the look of it, then.. good luck to you.

why not? if i add .html in taghandlers.php it won’t add .html in url title, it won’t do anything except a 404 message.. so i put .html in the function that creates the url title (function article_post() in txp_article.php) and every article will have it (yes, it works).
thank you for showing me that option.
