Image Tab error
Hi,
I have textpattern 4.0.3 installed and when I click on the image tab, I get this error:
Warning: Unexpected character in input: ‘\’ (ASCII=92) state=1 in /home/carina/public_html/blogeng/textpattern/lib/class.thumb.php on line 263
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING in /home/carina/public_html/blogeng/textpattern/lib/class.thumb.php on line 263
Could someone tell me what that means and how to resolve this?
I just installed a couple of img plug-ins. Could that be related?

Your class.thumb.php file has most likely been modified or corrupted somehow. Please replace it with a fresh copy from Textpattern 4.0.3.

One question:
Is there a difference what to use for uploading images?
The files tab or the images tab?
Does it matter?

Using the images tab allows you to use image tags, like txp:image, txp:article_image, etc., so you should use that over the file upload tab. While you could upload with the file tab, you’d be missing out TXP’s image features. That said, you can upload images as files for download (/file_download/id).
